Kirk Cousins you are a hero. A hero to Minnesota Vikings fans who doubted you early this season (sorry) and more importantly to a group of homeless children who had an experience they will never forget.
Earlier this week Kirk Cousins surprised a group of about 50 homeless kids with a trip to Party City where they could get any costume they wanted for this Halloween, all on Kirk's dime. Lots of superheroes, princesses and ninjas wandered the halls of the Eagan Party City.
But soon after they all left for Twins Cities Orthopedics where Vikings staff set up trick or treating for the kids. Captain Kirk finally put on a his costume and trick or treated with the kids as Buzz Lightyear. Along with his O-line who also joined in the costumes.
This is just the good karma the Vikes need before heading to Kansas City for a tough road game. But this also proves to me how much Kirk is happy in Minnesota, he has a passion for the state and those who are in it. He has truly adopted the "Minnesota nice" mindset, and I love to see it.
So lets try to keep this momentum going and take the purple and gold to Infinity and Beyond this Sunday. (wow I hate myself)
