If you're asking how upset I am about losing to Iowa, I'm not. If you want to talk being mad about something that happened in the past, let's talk about College Gameday.
They supposedly cover "the best story" not "the best game".... Well they sure didn't do that two weeks ago. The Cinderella story of the underdog Gophers taking down the big bad #5 ranked Penn State had to have been the best story this league has seen all year. I stand by that take.
But that's news of the past and I'm not going to talk about it (unlike NDSU fans that post scores from 8 years ago as a "comeback").
What I am here to talk about is how upset Ohio State fans are that College Gameday is coming to their big game vs. Penn State this week. This is some of the funniest shit I have EVER seen in sports:
Did I mention that Ohio State fans are soft yet? Or does this string of tweets above prove my point?
It must be nice. It must be nice to be upset that their show is coming to your school. Listen, I know your school is historically good at football and Minnesota is not. What makes me angry is that you are getting a chance to have your school in the nation's spotlight (by nation I mean an audience of people who are half in the bag at 10 A.M. from the night before) and you don't even give a fuck.
You want to sit there and cry about how they only talk about the SEC? News flash, that's all ANYBODY does. Thats college football, thats their job. Your "boycotting" is not going to do anything to change that.
So if I were you Ohio State, I would dry up those tears, put a smile on your face, and appreciate the fact that you are still undefeated, still in the playoff hunt, and still have College Gameday coming to your school. I would have KILLED to see Lee Corso put on the Gopher mascot head in the parking lot of TCF Bank, but I didn't.
10-1 after this weekend, Row the Boat
